Tucked away in a lush valley just outside Maleny you'll find one of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland's most secluded cottage retreats.
Whispering Valley is all about peace and privacy - A relaxed luxury escape for couples and small groups. It's a place to breathe real fresh air, wonder at the stars and wake to the sounds of nature with someone special.
Some come and explore a secret hideaway that is the perfect antidote to the daily grind. A chance for your very own Tree Change.
Many guests often try to describe the special feeling that people get from Whispering Valley - but it's not always easy to do.
It's hard to put into words but it's definitely real as it happens again and again. Just a little time out with the sounds of nature, cool breezes in the trees and plenty of room to move seems to have quite an effect on people.
Whispering Valley is secluded 50 acre retreat surrounded by state forest where luxury cottages nestle carefully into the environment. Each is discreetly positioned for maximum privacy with lovely views across the property to the forest beyond.
One bedroom cottages and two bedroom bush pavilions are tastefully appointed and feature a fireplace, double spa, kitchen and more.
A four bedroom farm house is also available on separate acreage for small groups looking for a country getaway.

Reception Information:
Drive up to reception. Please contact the property after your booking is made using the telephone number on your booking confirmation if you will be arriving after 6 pm.
Car Parking:
All Cottages have carports.
Things to do:
Horse Riding: Two hour professionally guided trail rides through the state forest are available most days.
Bush Walking: Walk around the property, through the state forest or explore the adjoining rain forest valley.
Wildlife & Animals: Native animals often come on to the property from the forest. Or you can feed our alpacas, horses or donkey.
Massage: in your room is available with prior arrangement.
Fishing & Swimming: Wet a line from the pontoon on our dam stocked with silver & golden perch. In the warmer months the deep water is ideal for a relaxing dip.
Local Attractions:
Local villages of Montville and Maleny provide opportunities to get out to cafes, galleries and restaurants in a charming country atmosphere.
All attractions are a short, scenic drive away.
Other attractions include wineries, waterfalls & national parks around that area.
Getting There:
From Brisbane take the Bruce Highway north towards Sunshine Coast.
At the Beerburrum exit TURN LEFT on Steve Irwin Way.
LEFT at Landsborough and through to Maleny (UBD Map 74 B16).
From the north take the Bruce Highway until the Landsborough turnoff.
(For Sat Nav users: punch in Shultz Road then follow it to Rosegum Lane)
Drive into Maleny.
At the police station (on left, if coming from Brisbane) reset your trip meter to zero Km.
Drive out of town towards Kenilworth.
Turn right into Curramore Road (just after the Red "Steep Descent" sign at 8.90 Km on your trip meter.
Take 4th right into Schultz Road at 11.1 Km.
Right turn at T-junction into Rosegum Lane at 13.5KM.
350m down on the left look for the "Country Cottage" sign and drive in.
