Rosevale House offers traditional bed and breakfast accommodation. The house started life as a 1930s Queensland cottage and has many delightful features, such as ornate ceilings and stained glass windows.
Rosevale House is nestled below The Bluff at Brooloo on 5 acres of landscaped gardens, in the picturesque Mary Valley, 10km north of Kenilworth and 10km south of Imbil.
Rosevale House is the perfect base for exploring the Mary Valley - fishing, kayaking, bushwalking, waterskiing, splendid scenic drives, delightful townships, good food. An ideal weekend getaway. Your hosts, Martin and Val, will ensure your stay is enjoyable, relaxing and memorable.
Rosevale House began its existence in Moorooka in Brisbane in the early 1930’s. The ornate plaster ceilings demonstrate the artistic nature of that period. About 20 years ago, the house was transported from Brisbane to its present location.
Rosevale House has two ensuite guest bedrooms with their own private verandahs overlooking the gardens.
Traditional hot breakfast or a vegetarian alternative is included each morning, and is served in the guest dining room, or on your own private verandah.

Evening self-cook BBQ pack (organic, pasture-fed fillet steak) with baked potato, salad and dessert or soup

Your meals are prepared using home or locally grown organic fresh produce whenever possible. A plentiful supply of appetising fresh fruit and vegetables are produced from the rich soils of not only the Mary Valley but also Rosevale's House own veggie patch.

Getting There:
Coming from the south:
Take exit 224 from the Bruce Highway, signed Eumundi, Noosa Heads, Kenilworth.
Follow route 22 towards Kenilworth for about 29km.
400m after passing over the Mary River, you will come to a junction.
Turn right at the junction to take the road signed Imbil and Gympie [51] (this road is also known as the Mary Valley Road).
Climb over the range. Just over the brow of the hill there is a “Welcome to Gympie Regional Council” sign; 2.7km after this sign turn left into Callemonda Road.
Rosevale House entrance is 30m on the left. (9.4km after the junction of the 22 and 51).
Coming from the north:
Take the Mary Valley (Tourist) Road from Gympie (route 51).
Rosevale House is 43km south of Gympie on the Mary Valley Road.
Although the address is Brooloo, Rosevale House is in Brooloo township, so do not turn off the Mary Valley Road when you see the sign to turn off to Brooloo.
After about 40km from Gympie, the Kenilworth Bluff will loom into sight on the left.
As you pass over the Coonoon-gibber Creek, watch out for Callemonda Road on the right (about 1km after the creek).
Turn right into Callemonda Road. Rosevale House entrance is 30m on the left.
